Challenge

You are not supposed to ask "how worse can it get" because it WILL get worse. But I'm challenging it. I'm frustrated beyond belief. So fuck you life! How worse can it get?!

Tired

I'm tired... tired of work, tired of fighting with the husband, tired of fighting with the kids, tired of being broke, tired of car problems, tired of feeling fat, tired of husband going out and drinking, tired of helping others. All in all, I'm just tired of being tired. Not sure how to fix it but I'll figure it out.

18 years ago today...

...I met the man that I was going to marry.

It's been a crazy 18 years. A rollercoaster you might say. We have had our ups n downs. Our good days n bad. Our lovey dovey days n our knock down drag out fight days. But I wouldn't change it for anything. We have 4 beautiful kids from this adventure. 2 houses. 4 cars. A cat and 2 dogs. I may have mentioned this previously, but I think it is worth another mention. :)

The way we met is a funny one. I was dating (if you could call it dating) his best friend. His friend decided he didn't want to be with me anymore so told my hubby to call me and break up with me. Classy, eh?? LOL. But he called me and we started chatting on the phone until around 2 or 3 in the morning. We met in person the next day and the rest is history. I have never wanted to be with anyone else. I love my hubby!

WOW! Holiday time already? This year flew by!!

Well, Halloween was fun. All of the kids dressed up this year and went trick or treating. I let my 16 year old go out with his friends. They had a good time wandering the neighborhood dressed in all black... the one and ONLY time that is allowed.

The younger ones, 13, 10 and 5 year old's went trick or treating with me n the hubby in my parent's neighborhood first, then our home neighborhood later. They got a lot of candy! But boy were they pooped! :)

On to Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was nice. I cooked for the second year in a row! (Side note: I do not cook!!! I am not a cook!!! I hate cooking!!!) I am very happy to say that my turkey came out awesome!! Nice and juicy!! I cooked for 11 people this year; last year for 8. This was the first time that I cooked for my mom and dad. They seemed to have enjoyed it. It made me really happy that things turned out. I was a little worried, but don't tell my hubby. I am super proud of myself!!

Now it is Christmas time. Wow, oh wow!! Christmas already? I started listening to Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving. I love Christmas music!

Every year I say that I want to get an early start on Christmas shopping. Today is Nov 30 and I have only bought one thing. Ok, I have a stocking stuffer too. Does this count?

I really want to get my tree up and decorate. Normally I get this done around mid month. I really want to to do this now! But I will wait until this weekend to get my tree. I am ready. I want to be in the spirit. This is my favorite holiday and I can't wait!

I am hoping to use this blog as a type of release. I have good days n bad days. It seems like more bad lately actually. But life is a roller coaster and I am hanging on for the ride! Ready or not, here I go...
